Professional Background
Ida was educated in Indonesia at the University of Satya Wacana in Central Java and at the University of New South Wales, Sydney for her Master of Arts (Applied Linguistics) Degree. She taught at her home University in Indonesia prior to arriving in Australia. She also taught at a private secondary school in Sydney, Sydney & Randwick TAFEs and the University of New South Wales before moving to Canberra.
Research Interests
Ida’s interests are in Indonesian linguistics and literatures as well as general education.

In collaboration with different universities and government departments, Ida had made significant contribution in the production of over 30 videos, dozens of audio tapes and a CD-ROM as well as printed materials used for the teaching of Indonesia language and culture.
